OutlierKit SEO challenges before CrawlRaven
A week of SEO, before
I would go through search console, use filters and find relevant keywords where either the position was not good, or coverage was missing, or rank was dropping. Took multiple tabs to extract keywords from different perspectives.
I would download XLS and then give it to claude to help me with what should I refresh or create new.
The problem was that…
The problem was that I had to dig through multiple tabs because search console would only show me top 1000 queries and applying filters was a task. I was often looking at longer , nuanced queries that would show up when users search in ai agents.
I had multiple ways to identify what needs work but each of them was a half an hour of digging data.
How OutlierKit uses CrawlRaven
What they use CrawlRaven for
I have now integrated crawlraven MCP in my claude. I just now describe in plain english what data I need and it give me all of it in seconds.
I ask questions like which of the content I published recently performed well and which did not, it would give me full analysis and I would add claude's intelligence on top of it to create new or refresh the content.
Through the MCP server
Yes. I ask questions like which of the content I published recently performed well and which did not, it would give me full analysis and I would add claude's intelligence on top of it to create new or refresh the content.
The part they use most
I use Search console + GA4 + Keyword import. But now i do not use the dashboard. I work primarily through MCP.
A use we didn't design for
I create weekly, monthly reports and have setup regular cadence to show me new opportunities to create SEO content.
What changed after OutlierKit started using CrawlRaven
The first thing CrawlRaven showed them
My landing pages were the most converting assets. The blogs had higher volume and I always thought they are biggest asset, but the conversion happened almost immediately on landing pages. These pages I had almost forgotten about and never showed up higher in GSC.
But integrating GA + GSC I understood what were the terms they ranked for and how much actual revenue I got with it.
What they shipped because of it
I publish use case wise landing page for different creator types - Educators, Coaches, YouTube Agencies, Personal Brands etc.
What they stopped doing
- No infinite csv and xls downloads from GSC.
- No manual report making for SEO outcomes
- No manual filtering and hunting for keywords
The SEO routine, now versus before
3 hours vs 30 minutes to identify the next set of keywords to aim
Showing up in AI search
I see it through traffic I get from AI agents and Trend graph in GSC about Generative AI Searches
Would OutlierKit recommend CrawlRaven
Who they would recommend it to
- To a SEO agency owner who has multiple clients and need multiple reporting.
- Solo founders, who want to do a lot with SEO marketing but feel limited with GSC
What they would fix first
- Need same filters (exactly same and all of them) as GSC.
- Need more details (notes) on how is an opportunity decided in the opportunities tab.
