Rapid SEO Tool Review: $99.95 for a Build Frozen Since 2022

Rapid SEO Tool is paid Windows software, not a free web tool. It analyses one page against four keywords, and the current version shipped in December 2022.

TL;DR

Rapid SEO Tool is a Windows desktop on-page analyser from Blumentals Solutions in Latvia. It is not the free web utility the name suggests, and the current build has not changed since December 2022. My rating: 2.1/5.

  • Pricing: $99.95 Standard, $139.95 Professional, $149.95 Enterprise. One-time, perpetual, 30-day money-back guarantee. Verified August 2026.
  • The catch: The three editions have identical features. The extra $40 buys a second computer, not a single additional capability.
  • Scope: One page, four keywords and two competitor URLs per analysis. No site crawl, no score, no API, no integrations, and reports export as a folder of HTML files.
  • Best for: Windows users who want a one-time purchase for occasional single-page keyword checks. Skip it if you need current data or site-wide coverage.

Rapid SEO Tool measures one page at a time and cannot tell you which page deserves the attention. CrawlRaven does the opposite: it joins Search Console, GA4 and a 200-point crawl into one ranked plan, from a one-time $49 at launch.

Rapid SEO Tool sounds like one of those free URL-in, report-out websites. It is not. It is a $99.95 Windows application whose current version shipped in December 2022, and knowing both facts before you click buy is the point of this review. Try CrawlRaven free: 1 site, no credit card →

Two things about Rapid SEO Tool are not obvious from its name. It is not free, and it is not a website. It is a $99.95 Windows application, and the version on sale today is the one that shipped in December 2022.

None of that makes it a scam. Blumentals Solutions is a real Latvian software house that has been selling code editors since the early 2000s, and the tool does what it claims. The question this review answers is narrower: in August 2026, what does $99.95 actually buy you?

The verdict up front: 2.1/5

Rapid SEO Tool earns 2.1 out of 5 from me. The analysis it performs is sound and the perpetual licence is honest, but the scope is tiny, the release cadence has stopped, and the edition tiers add nothing but seats. I scored it on five criteria:

  • On-page analysis quality: 3/5. It reports keyword presence, weight and prominence across title, meta, H1, H2 to H6, body and bold text. That is real analysis, just a narrow slice of it.
  • Scope per analysis: 1/5. One page, four keywords, two competitors. Every ceiling here is low.
  • Maintenance and updates: 1/5. Version 2.12 has been the current build since December 2022.
  • Rank tracking reliability: 1/5. Positions only refresh while your own computer is running.
  • Value for money: 2/5. $99.95 once is not much, but the paid upgrades buy seats rather than features.

Key Takeaways

  • Price: $99.95 / $139.95 / $149.95 one-time, perpetual, with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Verified on rapidseotool.com, August 2026.
  • Platform: Windows 10 and 11 only. No Mac, no Linux, no web version, no account and no cloud sync.
  • Best for: Windows users who want a one-time purchase for occasional single-page keyword checks and like the idea of software that never sends a renewal invoice.
  • Skip if: you need a site-wide crawl, current ranking data you can trust, team access, exports beyond raw HTML, or any integration at all.

What is Rapid SEO Tool?

Rapid SEO Tool is a Windows desktop application for on-page SEO analysis and search position monitoring, published by Blumentals Solutions SIA of Jurmala, Latvia. The company is a small, named team led by Karlis Blumentals, and its main products are code editors: WeBuilder, Rapid PHP Editor and HTMLPad.

That context matters. Rapid SEO Tool is a side product in a portfolio built around developer tooling, and it is maintained at the cadence you would expect of one.

The Rapid SEO Tool homepage in August 2026, headlined 'simple SEO software' with the promise of improving your position on search engines and a claim of no monthly fees.
The Rapid SEO Tool homepage in August 2026. The 'no monthly fees' promise is real: this is a perpetual licence.

It is not the free web tool the name suggests

Plenty of sites with names in this shape are free, browser-based utilities funded by advertising. Rapid SEO Tool is the opposite of all three:

  • It is downloadable software, distributed as a Windows executable, not a page you paste a URL into.
  • It is paid, from $99.95, with a time-limited trial rather than a free tier.
  • It carries no advertising and needs no account. The business model is straightforward software sales, which is genuinely refreshing.

Rapid SEO Tool's key features

The feature list is short and mostly does what it says:

  • Automatic suggestions. The tool reads your page source and recommends changes, which the vendor describes as looking at your web page code and suggesting what can be improved.
  • Side-by-side competitor comparison. Your page against up to two rival URLs on the same measurements.
  • Keyword weight and prominence reporting. For each keyword, presence and emphasis across title, meta description, H1, H2 to H6, body top, body and bold or strong text.
  • Spider view. A rendering of how a search engine crawler sees the page, stripped of styling. Genuinely useful, and the feature I would miss most.
  • Keyword density charts and a word cloud. Visual summaries of term usage.
  • Position monitoring. Tracks your rankings over time, with the significant caveat covered below.
  • Report branding. Reports can carry your own brand, which matters if you hand them to clients.

The scope limits: one page, four keywords, two rivals

This is the section that should decide the purchase for most readers. Every ceiling is documented in the vendor's own help files, and every one is low.

Hard limits

What one Rapid SEO Tool analysis covers

1
Page per analysis

A single URL at a time, never a site-wide crawl.

4
Keywords per analysis

Four phrases is the hard cap on any one report.

2
Competitor pages

Two rival URLs can sit beside yours in the comparison.

0
Integrations or API

No Search Console, no analytics, no export hook.

Verified August 2026 against the vendor’s own help documentation at help.blumentals.net.

Stated plainly: one analysis covers one page, a maximum of four keywords and a maximum of two competitor URLs, and there are zero integrations or API endpoints. A 500-page site is 500 separate runs, each one driven by hand.

There is also no numeric score anywhere in the output, which is unusual in 2026. Reports export as a main HTML file plus a folder of supporting files, with no PDF or CSV documented. If your workflow depends on dropping a score into a client update, this tool will not produce one.

Rapid SEO Tool pricing (verified August 2026)

Three perpetual licences, one price each, no subscription. Credit is due here: a one-time fee for software that does not expire is increasingly rare, and the buy page states it clearly.

EditionOne-time priceComputersUpgrade priceFeatures
Standard$99.951$39.95All listed features
Professional$139.952$49.95All listed features
Enterprise$149.953$59.95All listed features
The Rapid SEO Tool buy page showing Standard at $99.95 for one computer, Professional at $139.95 for two computers and Enterprise at $149.95 for three computers, with a 30-day money-back guarantee stamp.
The Rapid SEO Tool buy page in August 2026. Note the labels: Standard is described as 'Main features' and the other two as 'All features', which the vendor's own comparison page contradicts.

What the more expensive editions actually add

The buy page implies a feature difference, describing Standard as main features and the upper tiers as all features. The vendor's comparison page says otherwise: all three editions list the same capabilities, including unlimited projects and report branding.

So the honest reading is that $139.95 buys the same software on a second machine, and $149.95 buys it on a third. If you work on one computer, Standard is the only edition worth considering, and the upsell is a seat count dressed as a feature tier.

The elephant: a build that shipped in 2022

The download page offers version 2.12. Softpedia, which tracks release dates independently, records that version as dated 12 December 2022. In August 2026 that is roughly three years and eight months since the last release.

The last version SnapFiles recorded, at a listed price of $69.96.

Softpedia dates the current release to 12 December 2022.
Aug 2026
Still version 2.12
The download page offers the same build, three years and eight months later, at $99.95.

For some software a long gap between releases signals maturity. For a tool whose entire job is analysing pages against Google, it signals something else. Consider what has changed in search since December 2022 and is not reflected in a build from that date.

  • AI Overviews and AI-driven results now occupy a large share of the result pages this tool tries to measure positions in.
  • Core Web Vitals shifted, with INP replacing FID as a Core Web Vital in March 2024. Rapid SEO Tool has no Core Web Vitals reporting either way.
  • Multiple core updates have landed in the interim, each one changing what a competitive page looks like.

The site itself is maintained: the copyright line reads 2026, and the pages load fine. That combination, a live site around a frozen product, is the clearest single signal in this review.

Opinion· Aditi's take
I do not think Blumentals is doing anything dishonest here. They built a decent little utility, it still runs, and they still sell it. But there is a difference between software that is finished and software that is abandoned, and for anything that touches a moving target like Google, a four-year-old build has quietly become the second thing. Charging 2026 prices for it is where my sympathy runs out.

Rank tracking that stops when your PC does

The position monitoring feature deserves its own warning, because the architecture has a consequence the marketing does not mention. There is no cloud backend. Checks run from your own machine, so the vendor's documentation states that your computer must be running at least every few days for the tool to get a chance to check positions.

Three practical consequences follow:

  • Your history has holes in it. Close the laptop for a fortnight and that fortnight is simply missing from the trend line.
  • You are querying search engines from your home or office IP. There is no documentation of rate limiting or blocking behaviour, which is a real consideration for anyone monitoring more than a handful of terms.
  • Nothing is shared. No account, no sync, no team access, so a colleague cannot see your data and a new machine starts empty.

Rapid SEO Tool pros and cons

Pros
  • One-time perpetual licence with no subscription and no renewal invoice, backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee
  • No account, no cloud dependency and no advertising: your data stays on your machine
  • Spider view is a genuinely useful rendering of how a crawler sees the page
  • Keyword weight and prominence reporting across title, meta, headings, body and bold text is real analysis
  • Report branding is included on every edition, which agencies usually pay extra for
  • A named, long-established company behind it, publicly listed in Jurmala, Latvia
Cons
  • The current version 2.12 has not been updated since December 2022
  • One page, four keywords and two competitor URLs per analysis, with no site-wide crawl
  • The three editions have identical features; the extra $40 buys a second computer
  • Position monitoring only runs while your own PC is switched on, leaving gaps in the history
  • Windows only, with no Mac, Linux or web version
  • No score, no PDF or CSV export, no API, no integrations, and no Search Console or GA4 connection
  • Almost no third-party review record: no G2, Capterra, Trustpilot or Product Hunt listing

Who Rapid SEO Tool is best for (and who should skip it)

Best for:

  • Windows users who hate subscriptions. If the recurring-fee model is what you are trying to escape, $99.95 once is a coherent answer.
  • Occasional single-page checks. A freelancer optimising a handful of landing pages a month will get their money's worth from the spider view and the prominence reporting.
  • Privacy-conscious operators. No account and no cloud means nothing leaves your machine, which a small number of people genuinely need.

Not ideal for:

  • Anyone with more than a few dozen pages. The one-page ceiling makes site-wide work impractical by hand.
  • Agencies and teams. No shared account, no sync, and a licence counted in computers rather than people.
  • Mac users, who cannot run it without a Windows environment.
  • Anyone who needs current data. A December 2022 build cannot reason about a 2026 result page, and it has no Core Web Vitals reporting at all.

What reviewers say about Rapid SEO Tool

Very little, and that absence is the finding. As of August 2026 I could not locate a listing for Rapid SEO Tool on G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, Product Hunt or AlternativeTo. Its entire public review record sits on two software download directories:

  • Softpedia: 3.5 out of 5 from 13 votes, 1,791 downloads recorded, listing version 2.12 dated 12 December 2022.
  • SnapFiles: an editor rating of 3.5 stars and a user rating of 4 stars from a single review, listing version 2.11 and a price of $69.96. That listing is stale on both counts.

Thirteen votes and one written review is not enough evidence to conclude the software is bad. It is enough to conclude that almost nobody is talking about it, and that you would be buying without the safety net of a review record.

One caution while researching: searches for this product surface a number of crack and keygen pages. Those are not the vendor, and the version numbers they advertise are not evidence of anything.

Rapid SEO Tool alternatives

Four alternatives, matched to what you were hoping Rapid SEO Tool would do:

  • Screaming Frog if you wanted desktop software that crawls properly. It runs on Windows and macOS, handles thousands of URLs in one pass, and is the standard answer for desktop crawling. Our Screaming Frog review covers where it shines and where it stalls.
  • SEOptimer or Woorank if what you actually wanted was the fast, free, paste-a-URL audit the name suggested. Both do that in a browser with no install: see our SEOptimer review and Woorank review.
  • Our free on-page tools if you only need the specific measurement. The keyword density checker covers term usage and the meta tag checker covers titles and descriptions, both on any URL, at no cost.
  • CrawlRaven if the appeal was the one-time licence but you need the work prioritized. It joins your Search Console and GA4 data with your imported keyword lists and a 200-point technical crawl, then returns one ranked plan across your whole site. Lifetime licences from a one-time $49 at launch, with a free plan for 1 site.

Frequently asked questions

Basics

  • What is Rapid SEO Tool? A Windows desktop application for on-page SEO analysis and position monitoring from Blumentals Solutions SIA in Jurmala, Latvia. You give it one page, up to four keywords and up to two competitor URLs, and it reports keyword usage and suggestions.
  • Is it free? No. It costs from $99.95 as a one-time perpetual licence. A time-limited trial exists, but the vendor does not publish its terms.
  • Does it run on a Mac? No. Windows 10 and 11 only, with no Mac, Linux or web version.

Pricing

  • How much does Rapid SEO Tool cost? $99.95 Standard, $139.95 Professional and $149.95 Enterprise, one-time and perpetual, verified August 2026. Upgrades from an older version run $39.95 to $59.95, and the buy page shows a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • Which edition should I buy? Standard, unless you genuinely need the software on more than one computer. The vendor's comparison page lists identical features across all three editions, so the higher tiers add seats, not capability.

Limits

  • Can it audit a whole site? No. Each analysis covers a single page, so a large site means running it manually once per URL.
  • Does the rank tracking run in the cloud? No. Checks run from your own machine, and the documentation states your computer must be running at least every few days for positions to be checked at all.
  • Does it connect to Search Console or GA4? No. There are no integrations and no API, so it never sees your own impressions, clicks or sessions.

Final verdict: should you buy Rapid SEO Tool?

2.1/5. Rapid SEO Tool is a competent, narrow, honestly sold utility that has stopped moving. The perpetual licence and the absence of ads or accounts are real virtues. The frozen build, the one-page ceiling and the seat-count edition tiers are why I cannot recommend it at $99.95 in 2026.

  • Buy Standard if you are on Windows, you want one payment forever, and your work genuinely is a few pages at a time. Use the 30-day guarantee to test that assumption properly.
  • Do not buy Professional or Enterprise unless you need a second or third machine. They are the same software.
  • Skip it if you need a crawl, current ranking data, exports, integrations, or a Mac. For site-wide work, start with a structured audit, or let CrawlRaven turn your own Search Console data into a ranked plan.

Frequently asked questions

What is Rapid SEO Tool?

Rapid SEO Tool is a Windows desktop application for on-page SEO analysis and search position monitoring, sold by Blumentals Solutions SIA of Jurmala, Latvia. You enter one page URL, up to four keywords and up to two competitor URLs, and it reports how your keywords are used across the title, meta description, headings and body, alongside suggestions for improvement. It is paid software, not a free web tool.

How much does Rapid SEO Tool cost?

Rapid SEO Tool costs $99.95 for Standard, $139.95 for Professional and $149.95 for Enterprise, verified on rapidseotool.com in August 2026. All three are one-time perpetual licences that do not expire, and the buy page displays a 30-day money-back guarantee. Upgrade pricing from an older version runs $39.95 to $59.95.

What is the difference between the Rapid SEO Tool editions?

Only the number of computers you may install on. The vendor's own comparison page lists identical features for Standard, Professional and Enterprise: side-by-side comparison, automatic suggestions, content quality check, keyword analysis, keyword cloud, spider view, unlimited projects and report branding. Standard covers one computer, Professional two and Enterprise three, so the extra $40 buys a second seat rather than any additional capability.

Is Rapid SEO Tool still updated?

Not meaningfully. The download page still offers version 2.12 in August 2026, and Softpedia dates that release to 12 December 2022. That is roughly three years and eight months without a new build, for software whose core job is analysing a search engine that has changed substantially in the same period. The website itself carries a 2026 copyright, so the site is maintained even though the application is not.

Does Rapid SEO Tool crawl an entire website?

No. The vendor's help documentation describes a workflow built around a single page: you enter one web page address, up to four keywords and up to two competitor page addresses, then run the analysis. There is no multi-page crawl, no site-wide audit, and no way to queue a list of URLs, so a 500-page site means 500 separate analyses.

Does Rapid SEO Tool work on a Mac?

No. The download page lists Windows 10 and Windows 11 only. There is no macOS build, no Linux build and no web version, so Mac users would need a Windows virtual machine or Boot Camp equivalent to run it at all.

Does Rapid SEO Tool connect to Google Search Console or Google Analytics?

No. Neither the vendor's site nor its help documentation mentions any integration, API, or account connection. Rapid SEO Tool analyses page source code and checks search positions by querying search engines directly from your machine, which means it never sees your own Search Console impressions or GA4 sessions.
